Colliers has announced a restructuring its London Offices team with a renewed focus on the West End and City markets and sees its City Fringe team transition out of the business on mutually agreed terms.
The City Fringe team, lead by Shaun Simons, and Michael Raibin will create their own boutique property agency whilst continuing to work and collaborate with Colliers on a number of key instructions. The team joined Colliers in 2016 when the firm acquired Hatton Real Estate, which was regarded by many as the dominant advisers in the important London sub-market and focal point with many TMT businesses.
In a comment, Colliers stated that the restructured London Offices team will continue to advise a wide range of UK and international clients seeking access to opportunities right across London and that it intends to bring in additional hires across London over the next few months.
Commenting on the restructuring, Tony Horrell, Colliers’ CEO UK & Ireland said: "London is the pre-eminent global market and Colliers is absolutely committed to building our strength and depth in this major gateway city to best serve our clients. We will be growing the scale of our teams to work collaboratively across the capital."
“We wish Shaun, Michael and their team all the best in their future endeavours, although our paths will continue to cross as we collaborate in clients’ best interests.” he added.
Shaun Simons said: "We are excited about the launch of our new venture on 1 April, and we leave Colliers in good spirits and on good terms. We would like to thank Tony and everyone else in the Colliers business for the past five plus years and look forward to continuing to work together for the benefit of mutual clients. We will continue operating from 27 Old Street, EC1 ensuring a smooth transition for our existing workstreams and all of our existing clients."
