Expo Real launches 'Transform & Beyond' with focus on the future of real estate

Transform & Beyond at Expo Real

Expo Real 2024 is set to make a bold statement in Munich next month, with the launch of Transform & Beyond, a new element of the three-day conference and exhibition dedicated to innovation and transformation in the real estate sector, with over 50 exhibitors and an extensive programme addressing key industry challenges, from decarbonisation to digitalisation and smart buildings.

Jessica Swoboda, Deputy Exhibition Director of Expo Real, said, "We are expecting a total of 52 exhibitors at Transform & Beyond, offering innovative solutions on digitalisation, decarbonisation, smart buildings, AI, robotics, and energy management for districts." She added that the area has been designed to evolve annually, integrating the latest industry trends and will draw a diverse mix of hardware, technology companies, and startups from across the globe.

Participants include Paul Tech, EnBW mobility+, and metergrid GmbH from Germany, as well as international firms such as WINT Water Intelligence from the UK, Alfred Smart from Spain, and Alvéole from Canada.

Beyond the exhibition, Transform & Beyond will offer a range of sessions on two main stages. The Tech Talk Stage will feature presentations from startups and tech companies, while the Transform & Beyond Stage will host a varied conference programme. Highlights include discussions on circular construction, climate neutrality, and EU policies on the green transition, led by key figures such as Jean-Paul Bowgen and Franc Mouwen.

Additionally, deep tech in the construction sector will be a major theme, with a keynote from Philippe Moseley. The final day of the event will see Yary Eumenius-Schulz, Founder and Managing Director of DEX prime, deliver a keynote on creative real estate financing models.

A notable feature of Transform & Beyond is the Decarb Arena, which will focus on strategies to decarbonise and transform urban areas and business districts. This initiative will be supported by guided tours, giving participants the opportunity to explore practical solutions to current challenges in the industry.

"Visitors to Transform & Beyond will find everything that is driving transformation in the construction and real estate industry in one place," said Swoboda.
