Stockford Anderson, the London-based, specialist out of town retail and leisure investment agency, are rebranding. From 9 March 2026 they will become Moreton Property LLP.
The team currently comprises investment agency specialists Matthew Stockford, Tom Watson, James Welch and new recruit Alistair Crossdale.
Stockford Anderson have advised on some notable transactions over the past few years including the £600 million sale of the Brookfield retail warehouse portfolio to British Land and the £75 million sale of the ALMCOR portfolio to Realty Income Corporation.
Tom Watson comments: “Following the departure of Paul Anderson in October 2025, and the recent recruitment of Ali Crossdale, this transitional moment called for a renaming of the partnership. Our highly experience, specialist team will continue to provide a top level of service to all our valued clients.”
Alistair Crossdale joins the team following a career in professional rugby. During his top-level, professional career, he played for Sale, Saracens and Perpignan. Matthew adds: “He is now looking to prop up the Moreton Property team, help us outflank the competition and try to lock into further high value deals to drive-over the line. We think after he converts a few transactions, he will be hooked.”
