Waypoint Asset Management, the real estate specialist, has appointed Barry Hill as Director of Asset Management, focusing on retail & mixed-use long income properties.
Having trained as a chartered surveyor at NFU Mutual, Barry joined Aberdeen Property Investors as an asset manager focusing on retail assets. He then moved to Aviva Investors, managing retail warehouse and shopping centre funds before leading the UK asset management team. Before joining Waypoint in 2024, Barry was an Associate Director at Catella APAM focused on shopping centre asset management.
At Waypoint, Barry will lead asset management for the Waypoint Essential Stores and the Waypoint Government Income funds. He will focus on identifying and delivering value-add initiatives, including refurbishments & leasing, and implementing the company’s sustainability strategy.
