Amazon takes 316,128 sq ft warehouse in Bristol

Logicor, a leading owner and operator of logistics real estate in Europe, today announced it has let WA316, its 316,128 sq ft distribution warehouse facility in Avonmouth, Bristol - UK, to a global online retailer, beleived to Amazon.

The household name e-commerce company has taken the facility on a new long-term lease, following Logicor’s comprehensive refurbishment of the property.

WA316 is situated on Western Approach, a well-established distribution park in the South West, home to many blue-chip companies. Located between Junction 1 of the M48 and Junction 18 of the M5, with frontage to the M49, WA316 offers direct access to the UK’s extensive motorway network.

Anthony McCluskie, Logicor’s Director, Asset Management, comments: “Due to the quality of the building and the comprehensive refurbishment we undertook, WA316 was extremely well received by the market. To have concluded the letting on practical completion of the refurbishment is testament to this and we’re delighted to have worked closely with this customer once again to facilitate their expansion requirements in Avonmouth.”

Savills, Knight Frank and JLL acted as joint letting agents for WA316. The tenant was advised by CBRE.
