• The newly built Grade A warehouse in Lliçà d'Amunt has been acquired on behalf of a French institutional investor

AEW has acquired a newly built, fully let Grade A logistics asset in Lliçà d'Amunt, around 30 km north east of Barcelona, on behalf of a French institutional investor. 

The property comprises 10,737 sqm of warehouse space with accompanying offices. It is let to an international logistics operator specialising in the furniture sector, with a weighted average unexpired lease term to break (WAULB) of 5.5 years. The purchase price has not been disclosed.

Lliçà d'Amunt sits on the edge of Barcelona's first ring. The site has a direct link to the C-17 highway and is 31 km, or about a 40-minute drive, from Barcelona city centre, with road connections to the rest of Catalonia, Spain and France.

AEW was advised by Fabregat Perulles Sales, Cushman & Wakefield, EY, Dokei and Ramboll. Knight Frank advised the vendor, who has not been named.
