PJD Group has let the second floor of its 29,000 sq ft One Express development, on George Leigh Street in Ancoats, Manchester to Beever and Struthers.
The chartered accountants and business advisor is relocating from St George’s House on Chester Road and has taken the whole of the 11,000 sq ft second floor on a ten-year lease. The accommodation is due to be occupied in the Autumn.
Mark Davies, of Altrincham-based PJD Group, said: “To have a locally-based and well-respected professional firm commit in this way shows that Ancoats now appeals to both the tech and the professional sector.”
Caroline Monk, Executive Partner of Beever and Struthers said: “We are delighted to be relocating to Ancoats, a vibrant new business area with great connectivity to local transport networks, and to the One Express building with its own unique identity. It is a perfect fit for us.
“We are looking forward to relocating to a space which will encourage collaboration, innovative thinking and knowledge sharing among our teams, while also ensuring we continue to deliver a great service to our clients.”
The Grade II listed building was bought by PJD Group in 2017, and the refurbishment incorporates a café and gym, including shower facilities. The work was completed in September 2021, with a number of lettings at the ground and first-floor levels agreed upon within four months of practical completion. Just 2,920 sq ft remains available.
PJD Group was represented by OBI and Daniel Harris and Co in the letting.
