Premier Foods, one of the UK’s largest food businesses, has agreed to a ten-year lease to occupy 6,917 sq ft across the whole of the self-contained first floor at Manchester’s One St James’s Square.
One St James’s Square, which comprises five floors in total, has recently undergone a comprehensive communal refurbishment programme to provide upgrades to all common areas, including the reception, WCs, lift carts, basement showers and cycle hub.
The incoming occupier will join RSBG Group, which recently took space on the fourth floor. The building offers a range of refurbished, fully fitted and Cat A space, with suites available from 2,300 sq ft to a full floor of 6,900 sq ft.
George Cohen, Senior Surveyor at LSH, who acted for Premier Foods, said:
“It was a pleasure to work with Premier Foods to understand their workplace needs and form their workplace strategy within Manchester City Centre.
“Having moved away from serviced space, One St James’s Square ultimately represented a perfect solution to their needs and has allowed Premier to create a bespoke space within a great building.”
Matt Pickersgill, Associate Director at Avison Young, added:
“It’s fantastic to see high-profile organisations such as Premier Foods choosing One St James’s Square as their long-term Manchester HQ and it is testament to the quality of the recent refurbishment of all communal areas, including reception and brand-new wellbeing facilities.
“The building offers them the efficient office space they were looking for within a modern environment and central location.”
Avison Young and OBI are the joint letting agents for One St James’s Square. Lambert Smith Hampton acted on behalf of Premier Foods Ltd.
