- New London flexible workspace brand targets landlords and asset managers with partnership model
SpaceFlex.London, a new flexible office space operator founded by real estate entrepreneur Tadhg Flanagan, has been launched to the London market.
Flanagan, who has more than 25 years’ experience in commercial real estate and nine years running the serviced office brand Breezblok, said the new flexible workspace venture is designed to meet the evolving needs of London’s office sector. Building on Breezblok’s success, which manages more than 30,000 sq ft of flexible workspace mainly in the City of London, SpaceFlex.London will focus on landlord-aligned partnerships and tailored strategies to maximise asset performance.
“Landlords and asset managers want to work with flexible workspace operators - but not as tenants. They’re looking for strategic partners who understand both sides of the table,” said Flanagan, adding, “Landlords now want performance-based partnerships.”
Driven by hybrid working trends and increased demand from occupiers seeking adaptable workspace solutions, London’s flexible office space market is expanding, and the new business will partner with landlords and asset managers through management agreements rather than leases, allowing property owners to introduce flexible office space in London while retaining control of their assets and sharing in the growth of the flex workspace sector.
