ParkBee appoints experienced real estate professional as UK managing director

Digital car park operator ParkBee has appointed Angelique de Rauville as Managing Director for its business in the United Kingdom.

De Rauville brings 20 years of leadership experience in the real estate industry and will play a key role in meeting the company’s ambitious growth goals in London and the UK.

ParkBee is a technology business that specialises in mobility and parking solutions, developing smart technology to manage and optimise the use of parking locations. This leads to substantially better returns for real estate investors, more liveable cities by stimulating off-street parking and sustainable mobility by leading cars efficiently to affordable parking spaces and reducing the time taken searching by drivers.

De Rauville started her career in real estate in 1998 when founding Provest Management, a South African listed real estate investment company. When Provest was acquired by Investec Group in 2003, she was given responsibility for specialised real estate, corporate & consultancy services and advising direct and indirect institutional investors. In 2007, she was named aGlobal Head of Property Investments at Investec based out of their London offices.

Since 2014, de Rauville has worked as an independent consultant for various real estate companies and family offices and was a real estate investor herself. She has also held various board positions of listed and unlisted real estate companies.

Werner Paul Boerma, CEO ParkBee: “Angelique’s track record, international experience, and management skills are impressive, so we are thrilled having her on board. We are convinced she will effectively lead our team in London and realise our intended expansion in the UK together with the great team that has already proven ParkBee is in an excellent position to create substantial value for real estate owners and consumers. We have a tremendous opportunity to grow further, in particular in the UK, being a significantly larger market than The Netherlands. Attracting someone of Angelique’s calibre into our business is a great endorsement of our strategy and ambition.”

ParkBee optimises occupancy rates in parking locations through data and smart technology for reservations, dynamic pricing and direct integration in large parking and mobility platforms of, amongst others, Parkmobile, Yellowbrick and ANWB. In addition, parkers can navigate through the ParkBee parking network via navigation apps Google Maps and Waze or reserve a spot via the mobility platforms or the ParkBee website parkbee.com.
