Expo Real 2026 to spotlight AI and smart buildings

Expo Real, the international real estate trade fair, will focus on artificial intelligence, smart buildings and decarbonisation when it returns to Munich from 5 to 7 October this Autumn.

Organisers said registrations for the event’s Transform & Beyond area have already matched last year's total, with strongest demand in the "smart buildings" and "energy solutions for neighbourhoods" categories. Other exhibitors will focus on AI and robotics, cleantech, biodiversity, decarbonisation, data-based market analysis, management and reporting solutions.

Jessica Swoboda, deputy exhibition director of Expo Real, said: "Transform & Beyond is hitting a nerve: The current registration figures demonstrate how relevant topics such as AI, smart buildings and decarbonisation have become for the real estate industry and how strong the networking between technology and the real estate industry has become."

The conference programme opens on Monday 5 October with a keynote and panel discussion on AI, agent systems and real estate valuation.
