MIPIM, the world's largest international real estate event, is set to take place in Cannes next month, with a growing number of European and international exhibitors confirming their participation. The organisers anticipate a 15% increase in attendance compared to 2022, with approximately 23,000 delegates from over 90 countries expected to attend.
Among the European cities and regions exhibiting at MIPIM 2023 are eight from the UK; London, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, West of England, West Midlands Combined Authority, Belfast and Central South.
Other European cities attending the global event include Prague, Copenhagen, Tallinn, Helsinki, Paris, Aix-Marseille, Bordeaux, Dijon, Grenoble, Montpellier, Nantes, Toulouse, Lyon, Lille, Nice, Calais, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hanover, Munich, Stuttgart, Milan, Riga, Warsaw, Kraków, Łódź, Poznań, Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Barcelona and Stockholm.
Outside Europe Saudi Arabia, Japan, Canada, Republic of Türkiye, Qatar, and Egypt will also be strongly represented and, for the first time at MIPIM, there will also be a US delegation gathering key players from this important market.
The conference program, centred around the theme 'Better Places - Greater Impact - Stronger Business', will shine a spotlight on ESG, innovation, and technology solutions that can accelerate the transformation of the built environment towards a more sustainable model. MIPIM 2023 will introduce six new stages, including the Road to Zero Stage, which will focus on pragmatic approaches to decarbonizing the real estate industry. The event is expected to attract 23,000 delegates from over 90 countries, which is a 15% increase compared to last year.
