Rapleys adds new head of Cost Consultancy & Project Management in line with latest strategic growth plan

Rapleys has hired another senior role bringing in Jack Cawthra as Partner in the fast-growing Building Consultancy team. Jack will become head of Cost Consultancy and Project Management services in the division whose recruitment has meant the team has grown by over 25% in the last 12 months alone.  

2022 was an exceptionally successful year for Rapleys, and building in particular, with the team’s revenue increasing by 25%, profit up to almost 50% of its revenue and responsible for 30% of the entire business profitability. In November, Rapleys reorganised with building one of four core services and its head Justin Tuckwell becoming Managing Partner of the business.

Jack joins having spent seven years at Gleave Partnership in Cheshire with a strong track record in delivering across the industrial, commercial and residential sectors of construction and has managed complex single and mixed use projects totaling over £200m. He specialises in working with businesses to maximise their return on capital investment, contract practice and administration, procurement and tendering, design economics and cost planning and construction related insurances. His clients include blue chip end-users, developers and funds including Amazon, Tesco and London & Regional Properties. He also plays an active role in supporting RICS candidates as an APC Counsellor and Assessor.
