The finalists of the MIPIM Awards 2025 have been revealed, highlighting 39 of the most visionary real estate projects from 22 countries across the globe. The winners will be announced at a prestigious ceremony on 13 March at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, during MIPIM, the world’s leading urban festival.
The awards, which honour outstanding real estate projects globally, span ten categories, including Best Conversion Project, Best Urban Regeneration Project, Best Workplace Experience, and Best New Mega Development. In addition to category winners, a ‘Special Jury Award’ will be presented to the jury’s favourite project overall.
This year’s finalists span diverse sectors, from mixed-use megaprojects to sustainable urban regeneration. Countries with strong representation include the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, and Brazil.
The projects shortlisted include Eden Dock at London’s Canary Wharf, which has been nominated for Best Urban Regeneration Project, and Arbor, Bankside Yards, in London, which has been shortlisted for the Best Workplace Experience award.
This year’s jury, chaired by Véronique Bedague, CEO of Nexity, features top real estate and architectural leaders, including Guy Grainger (JLL), Ann Gray (RICS), and Karim Habra (Partners Group AG). The panel assessed projects based on sustainability, architectural quality, integration with the environment, and economic contribution.
“The shortlisted projects truly exemplify the diversity and innovation shaping the future of our built environment,” said Véronique Bedague. “The jury was particularly impressed by the ingenuity in reimagining spaces for people to live, work, and thrive.”
MIPIM, which will take place from 10-14 March 2025 in Cannes, is set to attract over 20,000 delegates from over 90 countries, including city leaders and real estate decision-makers.
