Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, to join global leaders at MIPIM 2025 as event expands programme

MIPIM 2025 is set to bring together an unprecedented assembly of global investors, policymakers, and city leaders as it expands its programme to tackle the evolving challenges in real estate. Taking place in Cannes from 10-14 March, the event will welcome mayors from major European capitals, including Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, alongside his counterparts from Athens, Madrid, and Rome.

With over €4 trillion in investment capital represented by leading sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors, this year’s MIPIM will serve as a crucial platform for shaping the future of sustainable urban development. Discussions will centre on key issues such as AI integration in real estate, decarbonisation, infrastructure investment, and housing supply challenges.

New initiatives for 2025 include an enhanced AI programme, featuring Columbia AI Day, as well as the launch of HTL Connection, a platform dedicated to hospitality, tourism, and leisure professionals. The event will also see the return of Housing Matters!, a high-level summit addressing housing affordability and supply, and the UK Hub, a dedicated forum showcasing investment opportunities across Britain.

Nicolas Kozubek, MIPIM Director, said: “MIPIM 2025 is about translating ideas into action. By bringing together global investors, policymakers, and industry leaders, we are shaping the future of sustainable cities and real estate investment.”

With representatives from across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Asia, and more than 20,000 delegates expected from 90 countries, MIPIM 2025 remains one of the most influential gatherings for real estate investment, development, and policy.
