Lord Hague to headline Shedmasters 2026 as geopolitical risk reshapes logistics real estate

Former Foreign Secretary Lord William Hague will deliver the keynote address at Shedmasters 2026, the annual invitation-only conference for senior professionals in the industrial and logistics real estate sector. Now in its 26th year, the event takes place on 7 May at SUD Lisboa, on the banks of the Tagus.

Lord Hague is expected to address the geopolitical forces currently reshaping international trade and logistics demand, including the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, political instability, and the structural shifts affecting supply chains across the UK and Europe.

The conference programme also features Kevin Mofid, Head of EMEA Industrial and Logistics Research at Savills, who will deliver his annual market overview drawing on the firm's latest data and analysis. Registration opens at 10:30am, with presentations, discussions, and a networking lunch throughout the day.

Shedmasters attracts more than 450 agents, developers, and consultants active in the UK and European industrial and logistics market and is widely regarded as one of the sector's most important annual gatherings.

Bridget Outtrim, director in the Savills South East Industrial team, said: "The industrial and logistics real estate market is navigating a level of geopolitical complexity we haven't seen for decades. Reshoring, supply chain reconfiguration, and shifting trade flows are all creating both risk and opportunity for investors and developers. Shedmasters is exactly the right forum to work through what that means in practice."

Shedmasters 2026 has named the Bee-Lieve Foundation, a charity supporting young people's mental health and emotional wellbeing, as its charity partner for the year.
