LandAid's pandemic Emergency Fund reaches its £1m target

The LandAid COVID-19 Emergency Fund has reached its £1m target to help vulnerable young people through the pandemic and the charity has been able to give £700,000 in small emergency grants of up to £10,000 to over 70 charities across the UK.

Despite lockdown measures are easing, LandAid points out that the crisis isn’t over and confirmed that the charity remains dedicated to supporting homeliness charities through the pandemic and beyond.

In a statement thanking supporters the charity said: "We will continue to distribute grants from the Fund to enable charities up and down the country to provide vital support for young homeless people through this crisis."
