MIPIM 2027 to expand across Cannes with new sector hubs

  • MIPIM to expand across Cannes with new Tech & AI, luxury residential and hospitality hubs, plus updated investment-focused programming.

MIPIM 2027 will expand beyond the Palais des Festivals for the first time, introducing new official destinations across Cannes when the event returns on 16 to 19 March 2027.

The expanded footprint includes a Tech & AI Hub at the Gray d'Albion Hotel, a Luxury Living & Branded Residences destination at the JW Marriott Beach, and new Hospitality Suites at the Majestic and Carlton hotels. Each venue will offer exhibition space, content and networking reserved for registered delegates, aimed at connecting technology investors, venture capital, family offices and luxury brands with the wider real estate market.

The 2027 programme also reflects shifting investment priorities. A new Resilience Stage will extend the existing Road to Zero decarbonisation programme to cover climate and geopolitical risk. The Data Centres Summit moves to Thursday morning, concentrating discussion on AI-ready infrastructure, while a new Defence track within the logistics and industrial summit will examine demand for adaptable, multi-purpose real estate. A Geostrategies Stage will cover investment markets including Germany, the Nordics, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe.

Housing Matters, MIPIM's residential investment forum, will move to Tuesday morning as part of the core programme, addressing housing delivery, affordability and sustainability.

New access options include a One Day Pass and an enhanced Premium Pass with a networking concierge service, alongside an AI-powered networking platform and redesigned mobile app.

Nicolas Boffi, MIPIM Director, said: "The Palais des Festivals remains the heart of MIPIM and that won't change. What we're doing is creating dedicated spaces for technology, hospitality, luxury living and private capital that are fully part of the event... Real estate and cities never stop evolving, and neither will MIPIM."
