This year's MIPIM is set to host delegations from more than 90 countries at the annual event scheduled for 12-15 March in Cannes.
The event will also feature a roster of high-profile political figures, including the former Prime Minister of Finland, Sanna Marin, the opening keynote speaker.
Other speakers include Belit Nejat Onay, the Lord Mayor of Hannover, and Sophie Hæstorp Andersen, the Lord Mayor of Copenhagen.
MIPIM's primary aim is to foster solutions to the pressing challenges faced by cities globally, simultaneously propelling the real estate industry forward, and the participation of high profile politicians underscores the event's reputation as a forum for political and business leaders to deliberate on urban and real estate issues.
The event's organisers highlight that this is important at a time characterised by global political and economic uncertainty, the pressing need to address climate change, and significant challenges in key real estate sectors, including commercial and residential property.
Nicolas Kozubek, MIPIM Director, said: "As the industry is transforming, shaped by geopolitical, demographic and technological factors, collaboration between the public servants and business leaders is crucial for the sector's ongoing transformation.
"At MIPIM 2024, we will see political and business leaders gather to discuss practical solutions for our cities and work together towards a more diverse, sustainable, and profitable real estate future. With changes to global monetary policy and a softening of rates factored into investment strategies, there will be plenty of opportunities for investors and cities to agree on new solutions to support the growth of cities and major projects across our built environment."
